How it works

A coach for every problem - until your child gets it.

Not a video. Not a worksheet. A real back-and-forth conversation that adapts, scaffolds, and doesn't move on until your child understands.

The student journey

Five steps, every session

Sign in - no password to forget

Your child enters their Class ID and their school student ID. The same number they use for lunch and computers.

Start a workshop

A focused set of problems on one skill - 10 questions for the SBA Booster, 3-5 for a Summer Bridge workshop.

Get coached on every step

The AI reads their work, names exactly what's right and what to adjust, and gives scaffolded hints - a nudge, then a clue, then a parallel worked example. Never the answer.

Earn StarDragon

Finish the workshop, unlock the game. The reward that turns math into something kids do voluntarily.

Track progress

Stars, workshops completed, and the class StarBoard. Parents see engagement at a glance from the dashboard.

The coaching

It doesn't quit. Some conversations go 100 turns.

When your child submits an answer, the AI responds conversationally - it reads their reasoning, distinguishes a guess from real understanding, and continues until they work it through themselves.

Checks understanding

Evaluates the explanation, not just the number - so a lucky guess doesn't pass.

A real workshop

Inside Workshop 8: Scale Drawings

Every workshop is built on an Illustrative Mathematics lesson, with a parent/teacher and a student version of the narrative.

Scale Drawings & Proportional Relationships
IM Alignment: G7, Unit 1, Lessons 3 & 7 ยท CCSS 7.G.A.1
For parents & teachers

Scale drawings are direct applications of proportional relationships. Students connect a scale factor to the constant of proportionality and move fluently between the map and the real world.

For students

A map is a proportional relationship! Every centimeter on the map stands for the same real distance. Find that one number and you can figure out anything.

Practice problems
  • Scaled copies of a triangle (IM G7 U1 L3)
  • Room blueprint: 1 inch = 6 feet (IM G7 U1 L3)
  • Map distances: 1 cm = 50 km (IM G7 U1 L7)
  • Scale without units, 1:25,000 - and draw to scale (IM G7 U1 L7)

Key vocabulary: scale factor - the constant of proportionality k for a scale drawing. actual = k ร— drawing.
